The strikers are bringing their hearts and minds campaign to the commuting public with a large sign reading "Honk 2 Support Libraries" at the busy intersection. Some of the people honked in support, then went home to read Wikipedia to see what the people were holding signs for. Then they weren't sure if they supported libraries or the library workers.

Honk 2 Support Libraries
The #Toronto Library Strike of '12 has expanded to the islands - the traffic islands that is. Picketers being squeezed by the construction in Nathan Phillips Square have started to move to the southeast and have broken out of City Hall and onto the traffic island at Queen Street West and Bay Street.

Some of the people honked in support, then went home to read Wikipedia to see what the people were holding signs for. Then they weren't sure if they supported libraries or the library workers.
