IndyCar 2012 season starts this weekend

Running the new chassis for the Honda Grand Prix of St Petersburg this weekend starts the IZOD IndyCar 2012 season of open wheel racing. The first race on Sunday, March 25 means that the Honda Indy #Toronto is getting closer. Slotted as race number 10 in the 16 race series the green flag drops at 12:30pm on Sunday, July 8, 2012 in Exhibition Place.

Dario Franchitti #10, Will Power#12 and Scott Dixon #9 head into the series as the 2011 points leaders.
