Wizard World Comic Con 2012 coming in April

Wizard World #Toronto Comic Con April 14-15, 2012 goes hyperspace at the Metro Toronto Convention Centre - this is the comic con you are looking for, said the droids, or something like that. Movies, television and comics will come to life with the fan groups and cosplay characters that will fill the halls and corridors of the convention centre. Do yourself a favour and follow the link to buy your tickets on line and save some money. Hours are 10am-7pm on Saturday and 11am-6pm on Sunday.

The fan groups will include 501st Vaders Fist, N.Y. Jedi, Rebel Legion Canadian Base, Anime North, Ontario Ghostbusters, Dr Who Society of Canada,  Klingon Assault Group/Crimson Knight Fleet, Pretty in Geek, Sexy Nerd Girl, Tfcon Transformer Collectors, Tights and Fights and the Toronto Steampunk Society will be at the show.

I also like seeing the Toronto Roller Derby League rolling around the crowded aisles of Comic Con, if anyone could take on the dark side it is the real women, real heart and real hits ladies of the flat track.

Jeri Ryan (Seven of Nine from Star Trek), Catherine Mary Stewart (The Last Starfighter) and Scott Bakula (Star Trek and Quantum Leap) are just a few of the many stars and comic/toy creators that will be at the show.
