Joe's Photos - blast from the past continue
Fresh Joe and I used to cover a lot of territory around Ontario and especially around the City of Toronto. Some of our favourite things to photograph were racing, airshows, the Toronto Roller Derby and atmosphere.

#Toronto Roller Derby looking for a new home
@TORollerDerby is losing the Bunker at Downsview Park in Spring and is looking for a new arena to host their exciting brand of flat track sports entertainment.
“Roller derby is like nothing else. Since it came to Toronto it’s consistently grown, attracting new skaters, fans and volunteers. It has truly changed the lives of so many people who have been involved over the years. In order to continue to engage so many people in our city with this unique sport, we need a space we can do that in,” said ToRD President Mazel Tough, who skates with The Betties."

If you have 20,000 square feet of space, access to the TTC and plenty of parking you could provide the new home that the skaters need for practice and for the bouts.

As time wears on
and spring can't seem to read the pleadings of a window display, we must look back at many of the fascinating sights of #Toronto. And as the band played on as we learn of the importance of being Earnest - sorry, we just loaded Netflix on our Wii - ahh, unlimited downloads and a wireless connection. A lovely lady shows off some delightful cosplay above.

Looking forward to the first weekend in March
My plan includes hitting the big smoke on Saturday and taking in the following:
Toronto International Bike Show.
Habourfront World Stage Daschund UN at PawsWay Pet Centre.
Lay's Do Us A Flavour at Yonge-Dundas Square.
Sexapalooza 2013.
For more action and excitement the battlin' brawlers of the Toronto Roller Derby begin the 2013 season with a double header home opener. "First up, the Death Track Dolls will challenge the 2012 Boot holders the Chicks Ahoy at 6pm on the track. This show stopper is followed by a clash of leopard and blue as the Gore Gore Rollergirls take on the Smoke City Betties."
