Winter Showers bring March Flowers

One unseasonably warm winter does not a trend make but if this lovely weather continues then we will have to rewrite the old ditty; April showers brings may flowers. These cute little crocus flowers burst out of the ground several days ago and have been in bloom for a couple of days now.

The bees are also out and about, rubbing up and down the style and stigma of the flower and gathering pollen to take back to the hive.
