Band Cottage 2012 at Kawagama Lake

Summer out of the city in cottage country. A drive up busy holiday weekend traffic on Highways 400 and 11 brings you up past Barrie and Orillia to the border of Haliburton and Muskoka. The area know for lakes and bays is home to the primo Ontario cottage spot known as the Band Cottage on Kawagama Lake.
The lake is the largest in Haliburton County and becomes a hive of activity with boating, waterskiing, swimming and tubing and we took advantage of it all during our annual visit to the slice of heaven near the town of Dorset.
The Cottage Association puts on a great fireworks show!

See more photos after the jump.
