#Toronto Windfest 2012: Go fly a kite

Strong winds at #TorontoWindFest raised bright kites of all sizes up to the skies over Woodbine Beach during the September 22 waterfront kite festival. Kids of all sizes created kites, added strings and either ran in the wind or tied off their large kites and let the wind do the rest.
Kite making workshops made it easy to learn the basics of harnessing the power of the wind, or you could watch the experts and see how it is really done.

See more kites after the jump.

Sweet! I didn't think that Toronto still had big areas that allowed kite flying.
