I love seeing the Google Maps Street View car driving around the city. Here it is near the Air Canada Centre. When he honks his horn I wonder if it says "cheese"?
This makes several times that I have seen the Street View camera car. They really spend a bundle for the data that is needed for their maps and street view applications. One of their competitors in the mapping business is Apple who released their own mapping app which has drawn a lot of criticism for some of its
bizarre funhouse satellite images.

This is so much more info than i needed! Apple replaced the Google Maps app with its own mapping service a very inadequate start by apple company by launching buggy Apple Maps app.
