Drake autograph session at Toronto HMV Queen Street West

Lineups stretched around the block on Beverley Street for a Monday, November 14, 2011 autograph session with Canadian rapper Drake at the Queen Street West HMV store. People had to buy an album and get a wristband for the chance to get the autograph.

TORONTO, Nov. 9, 2011 /CNW/ - hmv Canada is proud to present MMVA and Juno award-winner Drake on Monday November 14th at hmv Queen St. at 5:30 p.m. The Toronto native will be appearing at hmv to greet fans and sign autographs. The first 500 people to pre-order his highly anticipated sophomore album Take Care from hmv Queen St. on Monday November 14th will be given a wristband at the time of purchase and guaranteed access to meet Drake that day. Comments on the facebook page said that people starting lining up on Sunday and instead of 500 wristbands one person said only 250 were given out. People also waited in groups along Queen Street West, many with pink posters of the singer.
