November 11 Remembrance Day: Lest We Forget

There are many Veteran tribute activities which start this weekend and culminate in the Friday, November 11, 2011 Remembrance Day Ceremony, including parade and laying of the wreaths at the Cenotaph at Old City Hall. Several Ceremonies are listed on the City of Toronto website as well as a Queen's Park Ceremony. Most of the events start from 10:30am onwards, to the 11th hour of the 11th day of the 11th month.

"Thank you Veterans of Canada" is painted onto the Queen Street West sidewalk in front of the Cenotaph in the photo above.
