Sage Fair: June eco-event

Described as a bohemian marketplace the Sage Fair is coming to the Metro #Toronto Convention Centre on Saturday and Sunday, June 2-3, 2012. The Fair is dedicated to promoting and grow local and environmentally friendly businesses to help Canadians "live happier, healthier and greener lifestyles."

The show started in London by founders Val Nicholson and Krysia Kwiatkowski and is now moving into Toronto in 2012. You can look forward to the Swapsity Media Eco-Swap (free exchange of media - books, cds, dvds and vinyl), Juno Award winner Brenda MacIntyre teaching song and drums to "Sing Themselves Alive" as well as artists, authors, presentations, raffles and sales.

You can sample delicious organic food and drinks like Giddy Yoyo's raw chocolate and BioLive's interactive workshop with chocolate broccoli (how to get the kids to eat broccoli).
There is lots more stuff to take in and the show happens during the Toronto Pro Supershow so you can check out two shows on the weekend.

In honour of the eco-event I present a butterfly I found taking a rest on Bay Street.
