Police Week 2012

Police Week starts Sunday May 13 and ends Saturday May 19 so get out there and meet your local police. It is a great chance to see some of the interesting things that the police are involved in. The tactical uniforms and equipment and displays are always cool to see and usually they have plenty of activities and displays to entertain children.

I had a chance to drop by the Peel Regional Police Day in Mississauga and watched the police rappel down the side of the building after smoke or flash bang grenades were thrown to the ground. After wandering the exhibits and meeting the officers we had a delicious barbecue lunch where the money raised went to charity.
