Twinings Tea Party in the Square

The tent, flowers and baskets of apples in Yonge-Dundas Square provided a soothing setting in the middle of bustling Toronto to enjoy some Twinings Tea (http://www.twinings.ca/). The company not only provided tiny cups of free tea they were also passing out boxes filled with free tea samples, Walkers Shortbread cookies and coupons. I sat down at one of the many tables and someone came by with various samples you could try – with all the fixings like honey and milk. I had three because I liked the tea and I really wanted to take the little plastic recyclable tea cups home with me. Later in the office I brewed up some Herbal Unwind tea which was a ‘comforting blend with African Honeybush and the flavours of mandarin and orange.’
I raise my little pinky finger high in the air with delight over the tea – it was a nice change from my usual coffee. Indubitably. When I get home I intend to have another little tea party with the tiny, little cups. Double Indubitably and hazzah, my good sir or madam! The Twinings Tea Party continues until 4:30pm on Thursday, October 20, 2011.

The woman in the photo is stunning. I'd have gone back for 3 cups too!
