Cavalcade of Lights Sat, Nov 23? Music and the City lights up Nathan Phillips Square and sets off some fireworks.

New Years Eve Celebration Sun, Dec 31 from 8 pm to midnight with Toronto's largest dance and skating party - with some exciting fireworks and live bands.
And the next day is the Toronto Polar Bear Dip Wed, Jan 1, otherwise known as the Sunnyside swim.
