Fall is in the trees, then it's on the ground

The trees know that winter is coming and the leaves are quickly falling from their high perches onto the ground which is littered with drying leaves of various colours. It's not hard to find fall foliage beauty on any walk or drive around the GTA.
The national symbol the Maple Leaf really embodies fall in Canada.
Sumacs are unrivaled for their vibrant bright red colours.

Check out more nature after the jump - I said check out more nature!!

Some birch tree leaves start to go yellow in a valley marsh land.

Damn burrs!

Milkweed pods break open and the brown fluffy seeds disperse into the air.
