City Hall pond emptied - Cavalcade of Lights setup begins

Okay we had the CNE, check, the return to school, check, fall colours, check, OMG now only winter remains. The Toronto City Hall Nathan Phillips Square pond has been emptied of water and the installation of decorations and lights for the upcoming Cavalcade of Lights is underway. Big stars now hang from the Freedom Arches.

Soon ice skating will be back in the square as freezing temperatures return to Toronto. The lighting celebration is scheduled for Saturday, November 26, 2011.
