The 65-storey building was designed by Zeidler Partnership Architects and it looks like the building features a mix of hotel, residential and luxurious amenities that you would expect from the Trump, or the Donald, brand. If I walk to close to the building it even tells me that I am fired. The opening is scheduled to take place on January 31, 2012, which I predict will be a very cold evening in the middle of our Canadian winter.
Luckily Canada's tallest residential tower (the hotel is on the lower floors) will feature the Quartz Crystal Spa full of infrared saunas and a indoor heated salt-water infinity lap pool to take away the blues, especially the blues of cold fingers, in a two level facility for both men and women. I was impressed that not only can you take part in traditional spa activities like massage, fitness workouts, facial treatments, manicure and pedicures you can also get your hair styled, enjoy healthy lunch and/or dinner and have a personal spa concierge.
"Quartz Crystal Spa™ was designed with true passion and a vision to create a timeless experience of calm, balance and revitalization through the healing properties of the quartz mineral," said Inna Levitan, owner, Quartz Crystal Spa™." Open 7 days a week from 8am to 9pm (8am to 6pm on Sundays). Artist renderings provided by Aerial Communications.
