Black Friday Travel and Sales

The American Thanksgiving holiday is on a Thursday, and the Friday after the holiday has become known as Black Friday which is the start of holiday shopping. The day of slashed prices and outrageous door crashing sales have fueled a buying frenzy which has resulted in a number of tragic accidents and deaths from over excited shoppers. In 2014, Black Friday is November 29th and the day has spread like wildfire into Canada. For people who don't like crowds you can do much of your shopping online, in fact a new day has been named Cyber Monday which is the Monday right after the Thanksgiving holiday weekend.
