Art Toronto 2013 coming October 25-28

@ArtToronto, the annual International Art Fair, returns to the Metro #Toronto Convention Centre with over 100 select galleries as well as special projects and exhibits of modern and contemporary fine art. With all manner of art on display you can usually see some performance art mixed in with paintings, installations, sculptures and photographs. Many millions of dollars of art is sold in this show so this is a chance to see some of the best art available from Canada and around the world.
In addition to the art there is also special talks and tours with curators, artists and industry leaders. I liked the thought of Collect Call: Collectors Speak with arts journalist Sarah Milroy meeting art collectors and discuss their individual approach to collecting and why there's no more wall space!
“Founded in 2000, Art Toronto: Toronto International Art Fair is Canada’s only modern and contemporary fine art fair, providing unique access to the Canadian art market. An annual fall event, "Art Toronto serves as the galvanizing vehicle for the nation’s art world. Considered the country's must-attend event for art collectors and industry professionals, Art Toronto is the place for galleries wishing to attract a new sophisticated market of collectors, and professionals, and the place to network with a diverse and well connected group of fellow participants."
Ticket Information: General Admission—$18, 3-Day Power Talks Pass—$40, Senior(65+)—$14, Students (13-17)—$14, Opening Night Preview—$200, Special Collector’s Preview—$300.
