The Interior Design Show 2024 coming soon to Toronto

The ultra cool Interior Design Show is just two weeks away, from January 18 to 21 in the Metro Toronto Convention Centre (North Building). This is the 25th edition of the show which brings the best of designers and vendors, for now and designs into the future, to the Front Street convention centre. It starts with Professional Trade Days (18th and 19th) and an amazing Opening Night Party on the 18th, followed by Public Days on the weekend (20th and 21st).

During the Professional Trade Days you can also take in a number of top industry speakers providing accredited seminars (OAA and IDCEC) while on the Public Days there are a number of talks to provide valuable information to the general public on such items as "Designing Canada 2024: Living in the Multi-verse" important for multifuncional, multigenerational, multiuse and multiunit spaces and "Home as a Sanctuary" focusing on the casual New York City loft style look.

Did I mention the Opening Night Party, because it is definitely worth attending. It happens Thursday night on January 18 from 7pm to 11pm. Open to the professional trade as well as the public. From the Show's website, "Party the night away on the show floor among many of the industry's best leaders, biggest personalities, and creative minds. Be dazzled by live performances by Canada's Drag Race queens Tynomi Banks and Miss Moco and enjoy the ambience of DJ sets by DJ Armandd, DJ Phillippe and Ace Dillinger. Grab a drink and explore all that the show has to offer in grand style." You can check out last year's party on my post here.

Design excellence is the key and some features of IDS2024 include a foray into "Modern Prefab", a look into the booming popularity of pre-fabricated buildings, "The District", a shop with fresh collections of design products and materials, "Keynote Speakers", presenting on the Cosentino Stage by industry leaders and celebrity personalities and "Studio North and Prototype" with custom displays by designers along with an exhibition for new and imaginative products.

Show hours are Thursday (18th) 9am-4pm, Friday (19th) 9am-6pm and on the weekend; Saturday (20th) and Sunday (21st) 10am-5pm. You can check out the costs on the website.
