Danica to race with NASCAR full time

Danica Patrick's website provides her announcement of the move from running both the IndyCar series and NASCAR into a full time ride with NASCAR. "August 25th 2011 at 16:06: Danica makes it official - will move to NASCAR Nationwide Series fulltime in 2012, and also run a partial Sprint Cup schedule." The predictions of her move were correct.

GO Daddy, her sponsor since 2006, will remain with her as she ends her relationship with Andretti Motorsports and moves exclusively into the NASCAR stock cars. She will finish out the 2011 race season with the IZOD IndyCar and Andretti Motorsports who she has driven for since 2007.

She is definitely one of the main draws to the Honda Indy Toronto (she is in the cockpit during the Honda Indy Toronto 2011 in the photo at top) and her presence will be missed.
