ACC: Sports Day in the Square

Maple Leaf Sports and Entertainment decided to throw a free Sports Day in the Square at the Maple Leaf Square just outside the ACC's Bremner Blvd entrance on Saturday, August 20, 2011. I got there early as Maple Leaf hockey player extraordinaire Darryl Sittler was signing autographs for a long line of fans.

Besides the Maple Leafs (Darrly Sittler and Cody Franson) the following professional sports franchises were also represented at the event: Toronto Raptors (Jay Triano, Micah Nri and Muggsy Bogues), Toronto FC and the Toronto Marlies. There were also a lot of activities for fans to participate in such as sports clinics, fun games, face painting, balloons and of course, the autographs. Leafs Blue Crew, the Raptors Dance Pak, mascots Carlton the Bear and Duke the Dog were also scheduled to appear.
