Ride for Heart

The Becel Heart & Stroke Ride for Heart fundraising bike ride took over the Gardiner Expressway and the Don Valley Parkway on Sunday, June 6. Thirteen thousand bikes were strung out over the length of the highways as the bikers rode high over the streets of downtown Toronto on the elevated Gardiner. You had a choice of 25, 50 or 75k routes and there were plenty of team and corporate groups in the ride.

Riders exit the car free highway to go to the CNE exhibition grounds and the finish line.

Bikers dismount and walk towards the end of the popular charity event.

At the finish line there were green clad Becel cheerleaders and Miss Toronto tourism 2010 to congratulate everyone.
