D-Day Commemoration

Toronto Commemorated the 66th Aniversary of the Allied D-Day invasion of Normandy on June 6, 1944. The event was held in City Hall's Nathan Phillips Square  on June 6, 2010 and Kevin Frankish of Breakfast Television was the Master Of Ceremony.

There were members of the Royal Canadian Legion, Toronto Civic Honour Guard, Police Ceremonial Unit, Firefighter, EMS, Transit, Police Pipe Band, Fire Services Pipes and Drums, Canadian Armed Forces, Veterans, some Navy, Cadets and Queens Own Rifles. There were a lot of uniforms and a lot of saluting going on.
Deputy Mayor and Mayoral candidate Joe Pantalone was on hand to represent the City.

Here is my YouTube video of the parade passing by.
