The lure of Hollywood stars and the big screen brings out movie fans as the cast of Magnificent Seven came to open the 41st Toronto International Film Festival. Actor Martin Sensmeier shows up at tiff premier in the photo at top. Fences separate the incoming talent from the fans and with a whistle the SUV limos pass through suddenly open gates and pull up to the entrance to the theatre. People strain to see if it is one of the stars as they start to take photos, hoping to get a good shot of movie royalty.

"An all-star cast — including Denzel Washington, Chris Pratt, Ethan Hawke, Vincent D’Onofrio, Lee Byung-hun and Peter Sarsgaard — saddles up for this blazing remake of the 1960 western classic from director Antoine Fuqua (The Equalizer), about seven gunslinging mercenaries protecting a small community from a rapacious robber baron."

King Street has been closed from University to Spadina to allow for Festival Street and it will remain closed until 5am Monday, September 12.

Hudson's Bay will be having three red carpets for the celebrities, one at Roy Thomson Hall, one at the TIFF Bell Lightbox and the last one at the Ryerson Theatre.
