Aurora Winter Festival Toronto 2019

A winter wonderland of fun is happening now at Ontario Place during the Aurora Winter Festival which is on from November 22, 2019 to January 5, 2020. Open from 4-10pm weekdays and 2-10pm on weekends, the festival will feature light displays, a Christmas Market, amusement rides and other activities and entertainment.

This is the second year for the event which is put on by the Canadian National Exhibition and is inspired by the northern lights of the Aurora Borealis. The beauty starts on the bridge leading to the island with a light show that moves bands of colours from each end to the middle.

The light displays are gorgeous and are spread everywhere - trees, animals and even mushrooms and a peacock, in greens, blues and whites. You can find a castle with a ice queen available for photos, amusement rides and warming stations. Entertainment tents and food trucks are open and bars have a selection of adult beverages.
