Acton Santa Claus Parade 2019

Santa is too busy in December so he has to meet his fans in November and so on Saturday the 16th he brought some of his friends to the small town of Acton (Halton Hills), Ontario. Families lined the streets and the children were eager to collect candies from all the floats, get free popcorn from Nancy at Acton Optical and sip on some free hot chocolate from the Salvation Army Church. Superior Glove gave out free gloves and Bethel Christian Reformed Church gave out scotch tape for wrapping your Christmas present. Sobeys was in the parade and collected food for the Acton Christmas Hamper program.

Bands and schools, groups and businesses along with emergency services joined in the long line of participants winding along Highway 7 with Santa and Mrs. Claus at the tail end of the parade. Here are some photo highlights of the parade.
