Back in the days you used to have to hibernate during winter, that or mount a powerful skidoo and run up and down trails in the forest, now you can visit a lot of shows or even a few festivals in the city. Even winter is keeping so busy it can't even make it to January or February so spring has stepped in and taken over. On right now at the stackt market on Bathurst Street is Sweet City Fest.
In the centre square is a forest of giant candies and suckers or lollipops, closer to the street you can find a flying saucer which is either trying to beam people up to the mothership or start some serious probing. At the end nearest the brewery and the whiskey yourt you can find some smaller scale curling games.
You can find several food trucks and the vendors are inside, or you can stay outside at the picnic tables or surrounding some campfires with a couple of drink stands ready to take your order.
Stackt market is a pedestrian only attraction and unless you get lucky with street parking it would be wise to walk, bike or take public transit or ubers to the market.
