Skate in your skivies around the Bentway skate path under the Gardiner Expressway on Sunday, December 30, 2018 from 1:30pm - 3pm. The free skate requires you to sign a waiver to participate in the Polar Bear Skate. The first ever polar skate drew quite an array of brave skaters willing to show that they are not scared of winter.
From the Bentway website; "A twist on the traditional polar bear dip, skaters will strip to their intimates and Skate the 8 in their knickers! All pre-registrants receive a free hot chocolate and a chance to win a special Bentway prize pack. Registration begins at 1:30pm. Please make your way to the yellow Bentway registration tent next to the Skate Trail to check in and receive further instructions."
