Snow, Cosplay and Santa Speedo weekend in Toronto

Canada is just being Canada again, darn that cold front. Along with 15-20 mm of white stuff and wind chill temperatures down to -22 degrees Celsius there will be some brave souls that will put on bright red, green or even white speedo bathing suits and run through the streets of Yorkville.
The annual Santa Speedo Run registration begins at noon on Saturday, December 15, 2013 at Hemingway's with the 3 km race starting at 1:30 pm.

"Some wait for Santa. Others for Elijah. And still others for Krüüdknæpper, the Festive Elf of Iceland. But in Yorkville, they wait for pasty-white “athletes” in nothing but flimsy red lycra." Speedo Canada will provide some bathing suits on a first come, first served basis. See photos of a previous race on my post here.
