Goose Island micro-brewery coming to #Toronto

Spring will bring the Chicago's award-winning beer as part of Labatt's High End Premium brands to Canada. Starting with vintage bold Belgian-style Ales - Sofie with it's orange and vanilla notes, and Matilda's spiciness, complement the finest of foods and joined by limited quantities of Goose Island's Pepe Nero farmhouse ale with its black pepper finish. Sales at LCBO stores and restaurants starting in early May 2013.

"Elegantly designed and well-suited to share during a meal, Sofie and Matilda are ideal for the discerning beer or wine drinker and are brewed to complement the flavours in some of the finest foods." Arielle Loeb, Marketing Director for High End Premium brands at Labatt. “The addition of Goose Island to Labatt’s portfolio gives beer fans a product that they can experiment with alongside a number of different flavours and courses.”

I wonder if they are going to change their name to Canada Goose Island when they come to the big, white north?
