Stackt Toronto

A big, pink bunny in the market
The modular marketplace looks like a tidy train wreck, conveniently located right beside the main commuter rail corridor into Toronto. Stackt transformed the empty land at the intersection of Bathurst and Front Streets into a shopping destination, cafe and outdoor lounge.

Shipping containers with large windows cut into the simple metal boxes are put together to allow for pedestrian pathways and focused courtyards. Down overlooking the rail tracks is the lounge area.

"Designed entirely out of shipping containers, at stackt you'll engage in new experiences, find new products and form new perceptions. It's an ever changing and evolving cultural marketplace that will feed your curiosity and expand your thinking." It is also just across from Historic Fort York, right beside the rusty metal bridge on Bathurst Street.
