Toronto Festival of Beer 2018 one week away

The countdown is on as the beer chills ahead of #TFOB2018 coming to Bandshell Park in Exhibition Place from July 26-29. With 416 varieties of beer at the festival there will be a barley-type adult beverage for everyone to experience - from local to international brews and highlighting Women in Beer, New Brews presented by TekSavvy and Funk Town. Joining the Festival of Beer is some good food and great concerts for a not-to-be missed summer event. Note: Photos provided.

Friday and Saturday are already completely sold out but, fans can still Beat The Heat with a $40 General Admission ticket to Thursday, July 26, while tickets for Sunday, July 29 start at just $45. The Festival is "Canada's premier celebration of the golden beverage" while enjoying some appetizing menu selections from Toronto's most popular restaurants. It will have "delicious food options for fans to enjoy!” said Les Murray, President of Beerlicious and Toronto’s Festival of Beer. “We are very fortunate to have such high-quality food vendors at this year’s festival which is why we are encouraging fans and foodies to grab their tickets now, while supplies last!” You can try out cuisine from La Palma, Capagnolo, Fidel Gastro's, Ted's World Famous BBQ, Oyster Boy and many others.

Concert Schedule

The live musical concerts at the OLG Bandshell are scheduled throughout the festival and are as follows.

Thursday, July 26: The Darcys (6:30pm), The Rural Alberta Advantage (7:45pm) and Broken Social Scene (9:15pm)
Friday, July 27: Garcons (7:30pm), JXCK KXLLY (8:30pm) and Ludacris (9:30pm)
Saturday, July 28: Frank Ryan (2:30pm), Shotty Horroh (3:30pm) and Dwayne Gretzky (4:45pm and 6:30pm)
Sunday, July 29: Brothers of North (2:30pm), Stuck on Planet Earth (3:30pm), Finger Eleven (4:30pm) and I Mother Earth (6:15pm)

Beer Festival Schedule (you can get in earlier most days with HOP / VIP / CLUB TFOB tickets). Taps off and gates closed happen after last call.

Thursday: Gate Opens 5:00pm, Last Call 10:30pm
Friday: Gate Opens General admission 4:30pm, Last Call 10:30pm
Saturday: Gate Opens General admission 1:30pm, Last Call 7:30pm
Sunday: Gate Opens General admission 1:30pm, Last Call 7:30pm

Getting there by the better way

Do yourself a favour and take public transit to Exhibition Place. You can take the #29 Dufferin Bus from Dufferin Station, the #511 Bathurst Streetcar from Bathurst Station or the #509 Harbourfront Streetcar from Union Station.

GO Transit's Lakeshore West line service runs every 30 minutes, every day of the week from 9:00am-1:00am with a stop in Exhibition Place near the Horse Palace.
