“The newest collection highlights my dedication to creating timeless pieces for full-chested women, while still touching on current trends” said Miriam Baker. “I was inspired by an art nouveaux fashion plate I purchased in Paris by Gereda Wegener – a Danish artist and the wife of Einar Wegenar who would go on to transition into “the Danish Girl” Lili Elbe – the collection consists of dreamy layers, unconventional fishnet details, figure-flattering dresses and duster coats for the modern woman. The woman in Wegener’s print is effortlessly seductive, comfortable in her skin and the clothes that adorn her – that is exactly how I want the women who wear my pieces to feel.”
Miriam has won the Suzanne Rogers Award for Most Promising New Label as well as being featured in Flare magazine as a designer to watch. Additionally she was profiled in Women's Wear Daily as the first designer to win the award for larger busted women.
