Toronto Harbour - Lake Ontario

One of the many great things about Toronto is the diversity of both it's citizens and environment. The great lake - Lake Ontario, is a immense attraction for the City. It's beaches and boardwalks allow a community to relate and humanizes the impersonal urban setting.

I have never understood the City's thinking that removing the Gardiner Expressway will free up the lakefront view while at the same time condo after condo continue to be built along it's shoreline. However, one of the benifits of redevelopment is that new boardwalks and trails continue to be added so that more people can enjoy the waterfront.

The Queens Quay area is a great place to bring your bike and explore the nooks and crannies of harbourfront.
