Choppers at the Toronto Motorcycle SUPERSHOW 2016

Winter makes the best time to visit the 'big one by the airport' and so thousands came out to the Toronto International Centre to dream of their next ride. It was so busy the free parking at the centre was full, so was the GO Transit parking lot and still people kept coming, filling up the factory parking lot next door. I can see why they say that this is 'North America's largest retail show for motorcycle enthusiasts' with over 425,000 square feet of everything motorcycle. The show runs from January 8-10, 2016.
'A true shopping extravaganza, the Motorcycle SUPERSHOW hosts hundreds of exhibits. In addition to the unveiling of the new Motorcycles the Motorcycle SUPERSHOW has the largest display of Motorcycles, Non-current and Pre-owned Bikes, Aftermarket Parts and Accessories, Rider Apparel and Helmets, Performance Equipment, Trailers, Travel Destinations, Custom Bike Builders, and a full range of Leather Fashions.' Hall 1 had Touring and Cruisers, Hall 2 featured the Industry Showcase, Hall 3 A Century of Motorcycles, Hall 4 Performance and Racing and finally in Hall 5 contained the Chopper and Custom Bike Showcase.

The people that paint these bikes must have some terrible nightmares as they are fixated on skeletons and skulls. One of these days I am going to see one done up in rainbows and flowers

Many come for the manufacturer displays showing the brand new bikes full of shiny chrome, or check out the used motorcycles, but I still love to check out the gorgeous custom showbikes that compete for $50,000 in prizes in the Canada Cup Championships.
Paul Teutul Jr.

Celebrities like Paul Teutul Jr. were also at the show signing autographs and posing for photos with fans. Paul Jr was co-founder of Orange County Choppers and now designs his own line of bikes. A couple of the cast members of television reality show Counting Cars also appear - Rock N' Roli and Horny Mike.
Hooters ladies were also at the show giving out coupons for free wings at the Toronto Airport location
