March 22-24 weekend in #Toronto

I looked out he window and what did I see, cold white snow falling down on me! Yeah, if winter could just end, that would be great. Forget about the beaches along Lake Ontario, they won't be ready for a few more months. Stay inside and enjoy some of the great shows happening around town during the upcoming March 2013 weekend.

If you have the need for MEGA, then the MegaSpeed Custom Car and Truck Show is for you. From March 22 to 24 at the Toronto International Centre. Renowned automotive designer Chip Foose will be at the BASF booth along with New York Ranger Rick Nash's 1968 Pro Touring Camaro RS SS Coupe; a 1959 Impala Convertible built by Boot Hill Auto from Erin; a 1935 Ford 3-window built by John St. Germain and a 2012 Porsche GT3 Cup Car, driven by Jeff Pabst. Plus the eternally cute Candy Clark from American Graffiti will be signing autographs.

Hey, be kind to the Earth - at least during Earth Hour on Saturday, March 23. And in honour of the picture above you can still wander through Blooms Away which continues to Sunday, March 24 at the Direct Energy Centre.
If you really want to wander around nature you can enjoy the Toronto Sugarbush Maple Syrup Festival. You know how you tap the tree to get sap, why can't we tap a tree to get draft beer. It should be like a Steam Whistle tree.
