Home for wasps

I once found a large wasp nest on the ground, empty, a hulk of a home that no longer nurtures Mother Nature's winged, stinging creatures. Maybe it is for rent, a passing wasp family can come by, put first and last month's rent down and move in on the first of the month. Or maybe a big, fat honeybee will fly by, strike a fancy to the digs and shove his ass in one of the holes and bingo, honey pad is in business. Whatever happens, I just hope that the bees or wasps don't sting me.
It looks a little sad and lonely, just like Detroit
