Return of the February BLAHS

Winter's stormy blast has been tamed by the El Nino affect - warmer and drier during the oscillations that happen every 2-7 years, and the February BLAHS have instead turned to blahs. Still, we just passed the Dead of Winter which is ten of the coldest days beginning January 21, so we have beat that hurdle. February is also time for the Toronto Black Film Festival.
To get us into Spring we need to take advantage of all the events coming up in the remaining days of February 2016. This Monday is the beginning of the Year of the Monkey as the Chinese New Year is celebrated all over the GTA. Celebrations in Chinatown (Dundas and Spadina) will happen over the February 13-14 weekend. Also starting next weekend is the annual Toronto Sears Great Canadian Chill at Yonge-Dundas Square. The official dip happens on Family Day on Monday, February 15.

The Canadian International AutoShow will fill the Metro Toronto Convention Centre starting Feb 12 with plenty of cars - including some stellar examples of Indy 500 racing history.
Coming up is also the Motorcycle Show Toronto Feb 19-21 and Sexapalooza Feb 26-28 are just some of the events that can keep you busy as we wait for the coming of of warmer weather, you can find more on my post here.

And after the jump there are some pretty ladies as photographed by Joe Hamilton.
