It's starting to feel a bit like spring as the snow has disappeared and the outdoor rinks are left to melt in the afternoon sun, but the blossoms are still some time away. You can get a better sense of the coming warmth by visiting the Toronto conservatory during the Spring and Easter flower shows which continue until April 29, 2018.
The beautiful Palm House and the attached greenhouses are full of both permanent botanical displays as well as the seasonal flowers like tulips, lilies, hyacinths and hydrangeas. Open year round from 10am to 5pm the park and greenhouses are located at 19 Horticultural Avenue - just east of Yonge Street along College Street.
