@Santa_SpeedoRun coming soon

If you wear a speedo outside in winter chances are you are about to climb into a steaming hot tub. Or if you are full of adventure, then you are probably shivering while waiting for the start of the 10th Annual Toronto Santa Speedo Run on Saturday, December 12, 2015.

"Some wait for Santa. Others for Elijah. And still others for Krüüdknæpper, the Festive Elf of Iceland. But in Yorkville, they wait for pasty “athletes” in nothing but flimsy red lycra."
The charity event raises money for the Hospital for Sick Children Toys and Games Fund and to date have collected over $285,000. My goodness it is fun to watch the group of brave souls as they pass through the fancy streets of Yorkville. The run starts at Hemingway's Restaurant at Cumberland Street and Old York Lane (near the Bay subway station).

Also on the 12th is the Burlington Santa 5k Run 2015.
