Chalk Chick in action

Working outside the Toronto Eaton Centre with an array of coloured chalks, the slender artist crouches down on the sidewalk and temporarily recreates an astounding variety of portraits that wouldn't be out of place on a gallery wall.
Her prime piece of downtown real estate catches people as they walk between Yonge/Dundas and the large shopping centre as she asks for loonies, toonies and bills of appreciative pedestrians.
