Sunflowers on University Avenue

Slim sunflower stalks grow high along the island oasis in the middle of #Toronto's wide and divided roadway leading north to Queen's Park. As the sunflowers mature, their bulbous heads fill with seeds in the middle of a halo of bright yellow petals. Soon the growing weight will cause the flowers to bend towards the ground and the long plants will seem sad and droopy.
