CIBC Soccer Nation

Brazilian dancers brought the host country of the 2014 FIFA World Cup to life in #Toronto at the July 12-13, 2014 street festival at the headquarters of CBC. Celebrating the world wide excitement of championship football with an outdoor viewing party for the CBC telecast of the final weekend of the Cup. The consolation finals will play on the big screen.

Toronto was joined by events across Canada at Vancouver, Edmonton, Montreal and Ottawa included performances by Maestro, Shad a large Brazilian band and some moving to the rhythm Mas dancers. Road closures of Front Street and John Street made room for a pedestrian friendly road full of cheering booths, a Budweiser beer garden and the aididas adi-zone giveways from 11am to 7pm.
