@PawsWay March 2013 events

There was a time when dogs were simply man's best friend, then they slowly took over the world. Luckily they believe in peace, why else would they have their own doggie United Nations? No, this is no Planet of the Pooches with Bowser Zaius! Dogs gather together to plan government policy and economic reforms at the Harbourfront location of PawsWay, mostly concentrating on bigger dog treats, while a new month brings more events like Scooby Doo Day and Agility Skills.

Dachshund UN
Thursday, February 28th 7pm / Friday, March 1st 7pm / Saturday, March 2nd 2pm / Sunday, March 3rd 2pm

Shock, delight, cacophony! A meeting of the United Nations Commission on Human Rights is staged with the help of specially recruited dachshunds in this wild performance installation. Joyful and chaotic, spectacular and fascinating, Dachshund UN questions our capacity to imagine and achieve a universal system of justice. Admittance to this show is free on a first-come, first-served basis at the Harbourfront Centre Enwave Theatre. Performances will also be webcast at PawsWay in the pet park for you and your dog to enjoy. For more information visitharbourfrontcentre.com/worldstage/dachshund
