Tasty Thursdays at Nathan Phillips Square

Hmmmm, that Thursday is Tasty! The City of #Toronto is hosting the Tasty Thursday free festival of food and music from July 12 to August 30, 2012 in the square at City Hall. The free event is sponsored by Timothy’s World Coffee. Tasty Food is served from 11am to 2pm, with each meal costing $7 or less, and Tasty Concerts from noon to 2pm. The Arsenals Ska band got the joint moving with some fabulous music during opening day.
The concert listing has the Arsenals Ska / Rocksteady July 12, Diego Marulanda Contemporary Latin July 19, Jaffa Road Arabic / Jewish / Indian fusion July 26, Lyndon John X and Wheelbarrow Reggae August 2, Dominc Mancuso JUNO Award-winning World music August 9, Annual Blues Society Talent Search August 16, QuiQue Escamilla Mexican August 23 and Batuki Music Society presents harambee Africa on August 30.
The event is very popular so be prepared to stand in lineup to get to the tasty international food served by restaurants around the city.
