Honda Indy #Toronto 2012: Saturday July 7

Friday's steambath of hot temperatures and beating sun at @HondaIndy makes way for partly cloudy weather with a chance of thunderstorms on Saturday. Action on the track continues with Star Mazda, Firestone Indy Lights, IndyCar qualifying runs and final races for the Star Mazda, Firestone Indy Lights and Ferrari Challenge (race #1). The Ferrari race #1 is from 2:40-3:30pm and the Firestone Indy Lights 50 lap race is from 4:00-5:00pm. Helio Castroneves #3 and Charlie Kimball #83 at turn one during Free Friday, above.
Justin Wilson #18
Sebastien Bourdais
Dario Franchitti #10

Off track the main attraction is Thunder Alley, the Streets of Toronto Food Fair and the Craft Beer tents. Try to get to the autograph sessions to meet the drivers and get something signed. The IndyCar autograph session is in Victory Circle at 4:15-5:15pm. You can also pick up tickets for tours of the team paddocks.

I definitely miss the Bud Girls and there are fewer beer tents. The good news is this makes for more general admission viewing locations.

The headline event IZOD IndyCar Streets of Toronto drops the green flag on Sunday July 8 at 1:00pm and ends at 3:00pm.
