#Toronto Roller Derby: It comes with roughing!

They don't give penalties for roughing in @TOrollerderby, it comes as part of the full contact, double-header action Saturday June 9, 2012 with a Chicks-Dolls-Gore Gore-Betties roller derby battle royale on the flat track.
In the Bunker at Downsview Park you can see the four ToRD home teams compete for their standings going into the finals. Doors open at 5pm and first up is the current league leaders Chicks Ahoy taking on the Death Track Dolls starting at 6pm, followed by the Gore-Gore Rollergirls versus the Smoke City Betties at 8pm. The evening will also include half time entertainment by Wicker.

Children aged 9 and under are welcome without charge (with adult accompaniment). Bring blankets and folding chairs for trackside seating, or find a spot on the bleachers surrounding the track. Food and refreshments are available for purchase.

The Toronto Roller Derby League is an independently founded organization, 100% owned and operated by the skaters and referees. Established in 2006, the league is now comprised of four home teams: the Gore-Gore Rollergirls, the Smoke City Betties, the Chicks Ahoy!, the Death Track Dolls, farm team the D-VAS, and two travel teams; the Bay St. Bruisers and the all-star CN-Power."
