Roman Legion invades #Toronto

Twin brothers Romulus and Remus founded the Roman Empire among the seven hills of  what would become Rome. The intricate pattern of roads and aqueducts helped spread their culture and their troops across a large part of the ancient known world and apparently into our fair city in the new world.
There were a several members of a re-enactment group dressed in full battle kit marching along Bloor Street. They stopped at the crystal building holding the Royal Ontario Museum (ROM). I left them before I got thrown into an arena (we were close to Varsity Stadium) with some hungry lions.

See more of the historical Roman Legion re-enactors after the jump.
