Orange Rickshaws

Bright orange rickshaws can be seen around the streets of #Toronto, especially around Queens Quay and the Eaton Centre, but I have yet to see anyone being carted around in the human powered vehicle. A maximum of three passengers can be carried with a minimum charge per fare of $20. Two people taking a short jaunt around the Eaton Centre will probably set you back around $24 plus tip, which is an expensive trip.
Rickshaws always remind me of Seinfeld when Kramer tries to get a rickshaw business going by hiring the homeless. The episode didn’t turn out well.
